In the moment

These are the moments where players may not look their prettiest but you can feel their passion. In contrast, there is also a comradery amongst those who play tennis. It’s a sport that is played by people of all ages and nationalities. With that comes a unique shared bond and a good amount of joy. The proud moment when a friend or doubles partner hits a winner - these are the moments of togetherness Rhythm Films was asked to capture.

Rhythm Films pitched Mauro Palmieri as the photographer of choice given his experience with creating beautiful and emotive portraits. The project was a great success with Tennis Australia admitting these were some of their best images to date.
